Really?

After a few months off im back. Now to jump right in to things, the Padres are going to be the top priority for this post. BREAKING NEWS: the Padres traded young star pitcher Mat Latos to the Reds for Edinson Volquez and three of their top ten prospects. The prospects include a reliever, a catcher and a first basemen/outfielder. I have a BIG problem with this... Latos is only 23 and although he a had a rough year, he can still become one of the best pitchers in baseball before his career is over. I also dont think that Volquez will be an adequate pitcher here. History has shown recently that a veteran pitcher that comes to San Diego will excel and then the next season will head up the 5 to the Dodgers, i.e. Garland, Harang. So basically it was a Latos for three prospects who include RP Brad Boxberger, IF/OF Yonder Alonso, and C Yasmani Grandal. These are top 10 prospects in the Reds organization but lets face it, Cincinnati is the ultimate hitters park and can make anyone look like a pro. A few years back, Brian Giles hit 5 homeruns in 3 games here... he hit 11 all season. The owner Moorad seems to like to trade the best young players and are losing fans because of it. If one of these players pan out, i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt last more than 3 full seasons with the Padres. Maybin better not buy a house, he is the lone young bright spot on the team and its only a matter of time until he gets shipped off for unproven prospects. So this next season, as much as i hate to say it, may be a tough one for Padres fans. Expect more trades to come because of the plethora of young talent in the double A that are waiting to come up to the show.
In other news, the Chargers play on Sunday night against the Ravens and it will be for their playoff lives. They also will need a lot of help for the Patriots to beat the Broncos and end (for now at least) the Tebow magic. I see the Chargers winning 24 to 21.
Im gonna try to be on here more and shout out to Rath David Hy, i promised him a shout out like 2 months ago hahaha OVER AND OUT
